A short trench in a waterproof, windproof shell with a full-length front zip.
The zip is the departure from a traditional trench, and it is an improvement in the rain. A classic trench closes with a double-breasted button front, which leaves a vertical seam that water tracks straight down and through. A full-length zip closes as a single sealed line, so the front of the coat behaves the same way the rest of it does. You lose the heritage detail and you gain a coat that actually works in weather.
It is cut shorter than a full trench, finishing at the hip rather than below the knee, which keeps it usable on a bike or in a car.
Tailored through the body rather than boxy. Sizes S to 3XL, with chest, waist and hip measurements on the Fit and Sizing tab.
Three colours: Brown, Black and Beige. The trade-off with a sealed waterproof shell is breathability - on a mild day with any pace to your walk, it will feel warm inside.

Waterproof, windproof shell fabric.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle only if needed, and never with fabric softener - softener clogs the water-repellent surface and the coat stops beading
- Do not bleach
- Line dry. A hot dryer can delaminate a waterproof membrane, and once that happens it cannot be repaired
- Do not iron and do not dry clean

Cut close through the waist. Size up if you plan to layer a jumper underneath.

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.
30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.
Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
