A zip-front winter jacket with a houndstooth-textured outer and a deep sherpa pile running through the body, collar and cuffs. The sherpa is what makes it warm; the texture on the outside is what stops it looking like a work jacket.
Contrast trim at the collar, cuffs and pocket openings in a smooth faux leather, which gives the edges some definition against all that pile.
Honest note: between two sizes, take the larger. The pile eats a good deal of the room inside, and a jumper under this at your usual size will be tight.
