A leather Chelsea boot with a cap toe, elastic side panels and a cushioned insole.

The elastic gusset is the whole design. A Chelsea has no laces and no zip, so those two side panels do all the work — they have to stretch enough to get your foot past the heel, then pull back tight enough to hold the boot on while you walk. Cut loose and it gapes at the ankle; cut tight and you fight it every morning.

The cap toe is the seam across the front. It is there because the toe box takes the most scuffing, and a separate panel there is easier to keep looking presentable than one continuous piece of leather.

Rubber outsole. Four colours: Black, Burgundy, Brown and Suede Black.

One thing to know before choosing - the three smooth leathers wipe clean after a wet walk. The suede does not. It will water-mark in rain and will not fully recover, so if these are for a British winter rather than for dry days, take one of the smooth finishes.

Sizing is European, EU 38 to EU 46, with the UK equivalent shown on each size. If you are between sizes or plan to wear thick socks, take the larger one.

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.

Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
