A varsity jacket in a mid-weight performance cloth, with striped ribbing at the collar, cuffs and hem and a full-length zip.
What makes this wearable rather than costume is where the sportswear detail has been kept and where it has been dropped. A traditional varsity jacket carries contrast sleeves, chenille lettering and press studs, all of which fix it to one specific look. Keeping only the striped rib and putting it on a clean, tailored body means you get the shape without the fancy dress - so it goes over a shirt for dinner as easily as over a t-shirt.
The cloth is breathable rather than a plastic-backed shell, which is what stops a zipped jacket becoming uncomfortable indoors.

- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, zipped closed. An open zip abrades whatever it lies against in the drum
- Do not bleach
- Line dry. High heat shrinks a knit rib faster than it shrinks the woven body, and the cuffs end up pulling in
- Do not tumble dry
- Cool iron on the body only - never press the ribbing, which flattens and loses its recovery

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.
30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.
Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
