A knitted jumper in a traditional Nordic pattern.

Nordic knitting patterns survive because of how they are constructed, not because of nostalgia. The yoke design carries the pattern in bands around the shoulders, which is structurally the strongest part of a knit and visually the part closest to the face. That is why these designs still read as considered a century after they were developed - the decoration is placed where the garment is strongest and where it flatters, rather than wherever there was room.

The pattern is knitted in rather than printed on, so it does not fade or crack with washing.

Sizing runs UK 8 to UK 22.

A knitted-in pattern means the jumper is thicker through the patterned bands than elsewhere - that is normal for this construction rather than a fault.

Materials & Care

Patterned knit.

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out
  • Wash with similar colours - a multi-colour knitted pattern can transfer dye between its own bands on the first wash
  • Do not bleach
  • Reshape while damp and dry flat
  • Do not tumble dry. Cool iron on the reverse if needed

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.

Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
