A cowhide belt with an automatic ratchet buckle rather than holes and a prong.

The mechanism is the reason to buy it. A pronged belt gives you adjustment in 2.5cm jumps and eventually tears the hole you use most; a ratchet buckle clicks in roughly 5mm increments and puts no stress on the leather at all. It fits properly after a large lunch and it still fits in the morning.

Materials & Care

Cowhide leather strap with an alloy buckle — these are the materials our supplier states. This contains animal hide. Wipe clean with a dry cloth and condition occasionally with leather cream. Do not soak.

Fit & Sizing

Five strap lengths: 110cm, 115cm, 120cm, 125cm, 130cm. These do NOT include the buckle. HOW TO CHOOSE. A ratchet belt is cut down to fit on first use, so buy longer than your waist and trim the excess. Measure your waist where you actually wear the belt, then add about 15cm. As a rough guide: 110cm strap suits roughly a 30-34in waist 115cm suits roughly 32-36in 120cm suits roughly 34-38in 125cm suits roughly 36-40in 130cm suits roughly 38-44in Those are guidance based on the stated strap lengths, not measurements taken by us. If in doubt, take the longer strap — you can cut it down, you cannot add to it. Belt width 3.5cm, which fits standard trouser and jean loops.

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.

Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
