Das Futter leistet hier mehr als der Oberstoff. Wildlederimitat allein ist eine dünne, nicht atmungsaktive Oberfläche – es sieht entsprechend aus und hält den Wind ab, bietet aber keinerlei Wärme. Durch das Fleecefutter wird aus einer dekorativen Hülle ein richtiger Wintermantel, denn das Fleece speichert die Luft und die Wildlederseite verhindert, dass der Wind sie wieder abführt. Eine Schicht erfüllt beide Aufgaben, weshalb der Mantel trotz seiner Länge leicht bleibt.
Er ist lang geschnitten – 123 cm in Größe S bis 125 cm in Größe L – und reicht daher über das Knie hinaus.
