An oversized cardigan with a structured collar and large metal buttons.

The collar is what separates this from every other slouchy cardigan. A standard cardigan finishes at a soft ribbed neckline that folds inward the moment you put anything on over it, which is why oversized knits so often read as shapeless. A structured collar holds a line at the neck, and that single hard edge is what gives the whole loose silhouette something to sit against. It is the reason this works over tailored trousers and not just over jeans.

The buttons are large and metal rather than knit-through plastic, so they carry enough weight to keep the front hanging straight instead of rolling.

The cut is deliberately oversized, with room to layer a shirt or a fine knit underneath. Sizing runs UK 8 to UK 16.

Nine colours: Navy Blue, Light Blue, Pink, Beige, White, Black, Olive Green, Grey and Coffee Brown. The paler shades show the knit texture and the button detail most clearly; the darker ones hide everyday wear better between washes.

One thing to be aware of - an oversized knit with metal hardware is heavy when wet, so it needs drying flat rather than on a hanger.

Materials & Care

Soft knit with metal hardware.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, buttons fastened. Loose buttons swing and catch the knit
Do not bleach
Reshape while damp and dry flat. An oversized knit is heavy when wet and its own weight will pull the shoulders down if hung
Do not tumble dry
Cool iron on the reverse, avoiding the buttons - metal holds heat and can scorch the knit around it

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.

Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
