An open-front kimono jacket, cut long, with wide sleeves and an all-over print.

It has no fastening, and that is deliberate rather than a shortcut. A zip or a row of buttons forces a layer to fit around whatever is underneath it, which is why most jackets stop working the moment you put a jumper on. This one simply hangs open, so it goes over a t-shirt and jeans or over a dress without either having to accommodate it. One jacket, most of your wardrobe.

The sleeves are cut wide and the body is long, so the drape does the work. It moves when you move rather than sitting flat against you.

Sizing runs UK 6 to UK 18 and it is cut loose by design - take your usual size rather than going up.

Two colourways: Burgundy and Midnight Blue. Be clear about what it is, though - an unfastened layer in a light fabric. It is a spring and autumn piece, or something to put on over an outfit indoors. It is not a coat and will not keep the cold out on its own.

Materials & Care

Lightweight woven fabric.

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
  • Wash with similar colours. Printed fabric releases dye in the first few washes
  • Do not bleach - it lifts the print before it lifts the mark
  • Hang to dry rather than tumble drying. The weight of a wet hem in a tumble dryer stretches the drape out of shape
  • Cool iron on the reverse if needed

Loose by design. Take your usual size - do not size up.

  • Sizes are listed in UK
  • Cut to hang open, so it does not need room to fasten across the chest
  • Sleeves are wide at the wrist and will fall back when you raise your arm
  • Body is cut long, past the hip

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.

Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
