A heavy cotton canvas work trouser with reinforced double-knee panels, in four colours including a hickory stripe.
The canvas is the difference. This is the stiff, dry cotton that old workwear was cut from, not the soft brushed stuff that goes thin at the seat after a season. It breaks in rather than wears out, and the colour fades where you use it instead of going patchy all over.
Honest note: it is genuinely rigid at first and the waist runs trim. If you are between waist sizes, size up.
