A heavyweight jumper knitted in a double yarn, cut close through the body so the weight reads as structure rather than bulk.

Most chunky knits solve warmth by adding volume, which is why they end up looking shapeless on. This one runs the yarn doubled through a tighter gauge instead, so the fabric is dense and heavy but the silhouette stays close to the body. Warm without the width.

Ribbed at the collar, cuffs and hem, deep enough to hold shape rather than curl after a few wears. The rib is the first thing to go on a cheap knit and it is the first thing to check on any of them.

Warm enough to be the outer layer on a dry autumn day, and close enough to the body to go under a coat without bunching at the shoulders when it is not.

Materials & Care

Heavyweight double-yarn knit.

  • Hand wash cold, or machine wash on a wool or delicates cycle
  • Do not wring. Press the water out instead
  • Dry flat and reshape while damp. A heavy knit will stretch under its own weight if you hang it wet
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Store folded, never on a hanger

Close fit. Take your usual size.

  • Cut close deliberately, so the weight of the knit reads as structure rather than bulk
  • If you want to layer a shirt underneath, or you prefer an oversized knit, size up
  • Ribbing at the hem and cuffs holds shape rather than loosening

Available M, L, XL, 2XL. This one does not run to S.

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery on every UK order. Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. Delivery is typically 7-12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

30 day returns. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and we extend this to 30 days for any unused item in its original condition. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the return.

Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
